Are you getting stoked about the Hunger Games? I’ll admit I haven’t read any of the books (yes, I’m sure I’m the only one in America who hasn’t) but I may have to check out the movie based on the fact I’m currently LOVING Jennifer Lawrence’s hair.
On Friday she hit the Mall of America in this half up, half down look created by celeb stylist David Babaii. Not only does she look just Brigitte Bardot and/or Jane Birkin (two of my faves hair-wise), but the color, bangs and soft texture are amazing.
Here’s how the hair pro styled it:
To begin, Babaii used IT&LY HAIRFASHION’s Pure Fluid Experience for a medium soft hold. After drying Jennifer’s hair using his fingers (to create defined texture) the bangs were smoothed straight keeping some volume with a large round brush. Next, he lifted the top and sides slightly before securing with pins to form a slight bump. The bottom section was curled with a large barrel curling iron to create loose waves. To finish, he finger-combed the hair with IT&LY HAIRFASHION’s Pure Definition Hairspray to loosen the waves.
