Kate Hudson hit up the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of her new thriller flick The Reluctant Fundamentalist in 2 looks we loved! We got the scoop from her mane man and celeb hair guru David Babaii.
AM LOOK: The stylist drew inspiration from the city of Venice creating a Boho-ish style for Kate’s long, luscious locks.
PM LOOK: Babaii transformed Kate’s look into a Venetian Goddess painting, a portrait of her natural and healthy beauty.
According to the pro, “Kate’s naturally long and full hair is a result of taking Viviscal and using great cruelty-free styling products like IT&LY’s Purity Design Line. As a hairstylist, it is important that my clients use the right vitamins to maintain healthy and strong hair. Eco-friendly products are also a must but healthy hair starts from the inside.”
BOHO DEETS: The stylist shampooed Kate’s hair with IT&LY’s Pure Shampoo and Pure Conditioner followed by a small amount of IT&LY’s Pure Water Drops Serum. Since Kate’s hair is naturally fuller from Viviscal, he applied IT&LY Pure Style Mousse to only the lower half of her hair for added hold. Next, he parted her hair down the middle, blow-drying with a large paddle brush, smoothing the crown and top half of her hair. At the lower portion, he switched to a medium round brush wrapping sections around the brush to create loose soft Boho-ish waves. For added hold with shine, he sprayed IT&LY’s Pure Definition Hair Spray.
GLAM DEETS: The canvas changed as David created a Venetian Goddess look to draw from the beauty of Italy. He began by applying an additional amount of IT&LY’s Pure Water Drops Serum using his fingers as a comb to create soft texture and style definition, wihtout disturbing the natural texture. Next, he drew the hair back and gently twised it into a chignon, lightly misting it with IT&LY’s Pure Definition Hair Spray for hold.
